About Us

After years of working in the hospital as Medics in the Air Force and later obtaining our Registered Nursing license, we have turned to nature to find a healing environment. Studies show that time spent in nature or viewing nature can provide physiological relaxation and stress recovery. We are dedicated to growing a farm without the use of herbicides and pesticides as we understand the harm they cause to our bodies, the soil, our water system, and our pollinators.

   Inspiration for our flower meadow came from the high peaks of Crested Butte, Colorado. We were dazzled by how the bumble bees happily danced from flower to flower in the native wildflower meadows. We loved the beautiful sight so much, that we decided to grow our own flower meadow for the bees.
